We have a 2 week stay with DDP and I have forgotten to include tipping costs in our budget. I know that 18% is standard for TS meals but how much extra could we need in total? Do we need cash or will servers actually receive tips we add to our KTTW card?

    Hi Jill,

My family love the Disney Dining Plan and with a two week stay at Walt Disney World, you are going to be able to experience an array of fabulous restaurants!

18% is indeed the standard amount of gratuity when dining at table-service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World. It is totally at your discretion to decide if you would like to increase this amount as a result of the service which you receive at any of your chosen restaurants. Gratuities are not included except at Dinner Shows, Private In-Room Dining and Cinderella’s Royal Table.

If you provide a credit card at check-in to charge incidentals and other expenses to your room, you can absolutely use your Key To The World card to pay for your gratuities at all of the table-service restaurants.

Please be aware that an 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill if you are a party of 6 or more.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
