    We have a week planned in June at Port Orleans. This is our 3rd trip to Disney and we have never taken the kids to the ocean. Can we rent a car on Disneyworld site and drive to Daytona Beach?

    Hi Anthony,

    You can certainly rent a car at Walt Disney World for a trip to the ocean.  There are two locations on property.  One is the Walt Disney World Car Car Center.  This has a shuttle that will pick you up from any Disney resort and drop you off at the center to pick up your car.  The phone number is (407) 824-3470. They have National and Alamo on site.  The hours are Monday through Friday 6 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm. 

    Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel offers Alamo rental cars as well.  You will need to use the bus transportation system to get there.  The easiest way is to take the bus to Downtown Disney and then take the Swan/Dolphin bus to the resort.  Their phone number is (407 )934-4930.  There hours are 8 am to 4 pm everyday.
