Hello we are going the week of March 3rd and I want to know what time, date and place will be the fireworks… Thank you

Hi Deney, welcome to planDisney! Golly, your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner. Can you already smell the churros and hear the Disneyland Band?

Now that your trip is approaching, I suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar. It's the best place to find park hours, entertainment schedules, and the list of attractions that are closed for refurbishment. Looking at the week of March 3, I see that fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. Mickey's Mix Magic will play with projections alongside the fireworks that you can watch from Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, or the façade of “it’s a small world." Or, you can head to Galaxy's Edge to watch the Fire of the Rising Moons show, a variation of the stunning fireworks with different lighting effects and music. I do need to mention that the fireworks are dependent on weather conditions and are subject to change or cancellation.

If your plans allow, I also recommend watching Fantasmic! at Disneyland, which is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during your visit. There's nothing quite like watching Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice use the power of his imagination to save the day. I love the finale when Disney friends wave hello from aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat.

If you'll be over in California Adventure, you can watch World of Color – ONE, which is scheduled nightly at 9:00 p.m., with a second showing at 10:15 p.m. on select nights. Speaking of California Adventure, the Food & Wine Festival is kicking off just before your visit. You can sample delicious food with a Sip and Savor Pass, enjoy culinary demonstrations and other entertainment, and more. It's the perfect time of year for foodies to visit.

Deney, if you’re looking for more ways to enhance your experience, consider a dining package, which pairs tasty food with premium viewing spots for select parades and nighttime spectaculars. You can explore the options on the Disneyland website

One last thing, Deney. I see that Disneyland is closing early at 8:00 p.m. on March 4 and 6 for Disneyland After Dark events. You will want to keep that in mind when planning your day. With a Park Hopper ticket, you'll be able to move over to California Adventure to finish out your night. Or, you can spend time exploring the Downtown Disney District.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Deney! Please let us know if you have any other questions before you arrive. We at planDisney are always happy to help!
