Which week would be less crowded: Nov. 16-20, 2009; or Nov. 30-Dec. 4? If it is the 16th, would we miss out on holiday happenings by going then? We want to see the decorations, go to MVMCP, and possibly see the Candlelight Processional. Thanks.

I love all the holiday celebrations at Walt Disney World and plan on returning for another visit at that time of year in 2009!

Since the holiday decorations and events are important to you I would definitely suggest the November 30-December 4 dates.  Generally, this is an excellent week to visit with the crowds being low and the holiday excitement just kicking off.  Unfortunately, the schedules for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party as well as the Candlelight Processional are not published for 2009 but looking at the 2008 dates this week would be great for everything.  By coming at the earlier dates you would have to give up the Candlelight Processional and some of the decorations.
