Hi there, for our 2 week holiday in august we have reserved many character meals and shows on DDP, my question is that for the spare mealtimes i.e b/fast and dinner (non character) do you still need to reserve beforehand or can you do it at the time.

    Hi Nigel!

I recommend making as many Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) as you can, especially if you are on the Disney Dining Plan.  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance and many restaurants will completely fill up via ADRs and will not allow any walk ups the day of.  For example, many of the restaurants at Epcot will literally post signs at various times of the year saying no walk ups are allowed.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
