Ahoy there, Douglas, and welcome back to planDisney!
Any celebration with Disney Cruise Line is sure to be amazing, but a father-daughter graduation celebration aboard the Disney Wish will undoubtedly be extra special. From the moment you step aboard, it feels like you’re entering a fairy tale. I’d love to recommend a few activities to help make your magical cruise a dream come true.
I’m always too excited to sleep the evening my
booking window opens; however, in your case, I think you’ll find that besides booking a few fun Port Adventures, most of the onboard fun fit for a graduate doesn’t require an advanced reservation. One such experience is the
Untangled Salon – the perfect spot for some pampering during your time at sea. This full-service salon offers a variety of services, but teens love going there to get their hair braided like Rapunzel. Once onboard, you can check with the salon team to see what treatments are available. While your daughter is having the best day ever, you can work on your smolder at
Hook's Barbery.
For a little healthy competition, drop by the
Hero Zone for a race on the Incredibles Incredi-Games obstacle course. You’ll have the opportunity to use your superpowers to swing, dodge, and slide your way around the obstacles. Don’t forget to pack socks because all heroes need them to compete. There are also various tabletop games and sports courts in this air-conditioned space. A fan favorite is Jack-Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash. It’s always fun to cheer on these adorable baby cruisers.
Another fun activity to do together is
Disney Uncharted Adventure. With the magic of a wishing star and spyglass (aka your phone and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app), you’ll set sail into the worlds of your favorite Disney pals. Your journey will take you from bow to stern and beyond the stars. It’s a great way to explore the ship at your own pace and make treasured memories together.
Finally, don’t forget to
add your graduation celebration to your reservation under Special Requests > Celebrations. You never know what magic might come your way. Douglas, I took my son on a special mother-son cruise last summer. We laughed, stayed up late, and ate entirely too much ice cream – it was wonderful! I hope you and your daughter enjoy every little moment together.
SEAS the adventure!
