Our 60th Wedding Annversary is on Oct 15th 2015. We are treating our August holiday to WDW as the celebration for it as our children are not able to join us in Oct due to UK school commitments. Would we still be eligible for 'Anniversary Buttons'?

    Hello Julie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for submitting your lovely question.  The short answer is - Yes absolutely!  At the Walt Disney World Resort you may celebrate whatever magical occasion you like whenever you like.

Walt Disney World is a very popular destination for celebrations.  I have known friends who celebrated by going to Walt Disney World for honeymoons, birthdays, graduations and sometimes even successful potty training.  Not always do our travel plans coincide with the actual date of an event in our lives, so it is up to you to celebrate your occasion whenever you wish.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, be sure to have your anniversary celebration noted on your reservation.  Quite often you will find a celebration button waiting for you when you check in.  Otherwise, simply stop by Guest Services when you go to a theme park and request your anniversary buttons.  And then be sure to wear it every day, too.  You will be surprised at how many well wishes you will receive throughout your stay.

Happy anniversary Julie!  May your second honeymoon be as MAGICAL as the first!

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº

Meet the Panelist: Brenda, Missouri

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
