We'd like to take our 4-year-old twin boys to Disney in December. Neither my husband or I have ever been there before. We have so many questions and don't know where to start regarding hotels, parks, activities, etc. Any suggestions?

Hi Michele - I think four is a great age for a first visit to Walt Disney World!  Since you haven't been there before, I'd first suggest that you do some research on a few items before booking your reservation.

    • First, pick up one or two guidebooks to get an overview of the resorts and attractions.  I suggest the Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World and the Passporter.
    • Next, decide on what type of tickets you'd like (base tickets, park hoppers, water parks and more option)
    • Choose the resort category you'd like to stay in (value, moderate, or deluxe).
    • If you need help picking a specific resort, come back and ask us for more help!
Once you book your reservation, you'll want to make advance dining reservations, as the most popular restaurants do book up well in advance.

    Good luck!
