We'd like to visit WDW the week BEFORE Easter in 2010. Is that normally extremely crowded? Is this consided "peak" or "holiday" time for hotel pricing? Thanks!

    Kim:

I hate to break it to you, but the week between Palm Sunday and Easter is probably one of THE most crowded weeks at Disney second only to the week between Christmas and New Year.  If you're looking to avoid crowds, this would not be a top pick....With all that said, though, a crowded day at Disney is still better than any day at work!

Although Disney hasn't released it's pricing schedule for 2010, that week has its own designation as "Easter" and this year was just slightly less than "Holiday" pricing which for most resorts was right before Christmas until New Year's.

If you need more help finding some accommodating dates for your trip next year, just come back and let us know.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
