If wed stay at a moderate resort and decide to drive to the parks, will we be charged for parking at the parks? It used to be free for guests who stayed at a Disney resort?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jeremy! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's get you on the road to planning your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

My family lives only about an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so we always have a car with us when we're there. Most of the time, we enjoy the opportunity to relax and let Disney do the driving as we make our way from one amazing destination to the next. There are times, though, when it really comes in handy to have our car. It all depends on what your Disney day has in store.

As a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll receive complimentary parking at all of the Theme Parks throughout your stay, so feel free to pile the family in and hit the road! And of course, parking is always free at Disney Springs, so be sure to pop over for a little shopping and dining there during your visit.

I hope this helps you make your plans, Jeremy. Please don't hesitate to come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
