We’d like to plan a family reunion for next year and haven’t decided which park. Are they any packages available for families with more than 10 in a group? We also have a few that will be using walkers or ECVs. Thank you for your time.

    Hello, Maria!

I’m so glad to hear you’re thinking of having your family reunion at the Disneyland Resort. The Happiest Place on Earth would be such a magical location for your special gathering! Disney Group Getaways allows large families and groups the opportunity to explore the parks together while enjoying discounted room rates. Group rates and other unique opportunities are available to parties of any size who book and occupy at least 10 hotel rooms. With Disney Group Getaways, Cast Members are on hand to assist you with booking, planning and making arrangements for special entertainment or private catered dining. If it sounds like a package of this type will suit your family’s needs, please call (714) 520-5004.

Both of the Disneyland Resort theme parks offer attraction access assistance to help Guests with mobility disabilities enjoy as much magic as possible. If an attraction queue is wide and flat enough to accommodate a walker, wheelchair, ECV or other mobility device, your group can proceed through to the end and a Cast Member can hold it for you at the loading area while you experience the attraction. There are attractions that load or unload at an alternate location or on different sides of the ride vehicle, so in some cases a Guest using a walker or ECV needs to use another entrance, even if their mobility device could otherwise fit in the queue. Groups may also be given a return time based on the current wait time to experience an attraction rather than waiting in the regular standby line. Please check with a Cast Member at the beginning of each queue and they can provide guidance on the proper procedure for you.

I hope this helps you plan, Maria. Please visit with more questions as your pixie-dusted family reunion approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
