We'd like to have lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby on our HS day. How much time should we factor into our plan for this sit-down meal? We have kids, 6 and 4, so don't really want to linger tooo long...is that a reasonable request to make to our server? Thx

Hi Sara! Asking your server to speed up your ordering to allow you to get in and out is certainly a reasonable request. Traveling with young children is challenging in many ways and the last thing you need to do is try to keep everyone happy and occupied while waiting for food to arrive. I suggest as soon as you are seated to let your server know that not only do you wish to order your drinks at that time but also the food as you are in a bit of a rush. They will do all they can to help you with this request. They will also then be able to let you know if any item you are wishing to order might take longer then other items.

I would certainly give yourself no less then 45 minutes even if you do order quickly at the Brown Derby. If you do not order anything except an entree this time can be shorter. But if you add appetizers and desserts your lunch or dinner will take a bit longer.

By the way, I LOVE the Cobb Salad there......it is huge and comes with the best warm bread and makes for a perfect meal at any time of day!
