Ahoy, Fumiko!
As a mom of two teenage daughters, our potty training days are far behind us. However, that doesn't mean that I've forgotten what a challenge it was when we were trying to train them to be independent in the potty department! Moms and dads should get trophies for surviving the potty training years. Your little girl sounds she's right on the verge of mastering her potty skills!
At the current time, children must meet the age requirement of 3 -12 years old and be fully toilet trained to participate in
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab. "Fully toilet trained" requires them to be able to use the potty independently, as the Youth Counselors aren't allowed to accompany the children into the restrooms in the club , and diapers and Pull-Ups are not allowed. Children who don't meet the age/potty training requirements are welcome to visit the youth clubs during Open House hours each day. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will list Open House hours, as well as your Personal Navigator (a daily newsletter delivered to your stateroom).
If you'll need childcare services during your cruise, (if she still hasn't mastered her potty skills before your sailing), I encourage you to make a reservation for your little one at
"it's a small world nursery"!. Reservations are required, and can be made in advance online. Reservations can also be made on a first-come, first-served basis on Embarkation Day and throughout your sailing. Childcare in the nursery has a hourly charge, currently $9 per hour.
I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
