We'd love to see Happily Ever After on a day we don't have MK tix. I'm especially interested in getting a flavor for the projections. While I know nothing will compare to the hub, would you suggest viewing from the Poly, CA Grill or other spot?

    Hi Stacy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

If I can’t be standing on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park in order to watch Happily Ever After (my absolute favourite fireworks spectacular in Walt Disney World Resort), then a close second is definitely from the California Grill’s observation deck at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Although you can’t see the projections on Cinderella Castle in great detail, you can definitely get a sense of some of the bigger/more visible elements of the show.

If you, or a member of your party is a Disney Vacation Club Member, another great spot for fireworks viewing is the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The view will, however, be similar to the one at California Grill.

Although you can see the fireworks from the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and even Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I wouldn’t recommend watching them from those places as the projections really aren’t visible at all.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
