    We’d like to know when wilderness lodge will be booking rooms? We are staying at another local hotel, but wilderness lodge is always our first choice!

    Hello Colleen and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!  We are so happy you've stopped by with your question about visiting the magic of Walt Disney World Resort this coming summer.

    I have some wonderful news to share in that Disney's Wilderness Lodge is scheduled to welcome Guests back home for stays beginning June 6th, 2021.  However, unfortunately, I don't yet have a corresponding date to share on when Guests will be able to make those all-important Resort room reservations for Disney's Wilderness Lodge.   

    My best recommendation at this time would be for you to hold onto your already made hotel reservation and keep a keen Ear on the Disney Parks Blog for any news or announcements on when Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be once again taking Guest reservations.  Or of course, another idea would be to regularly check back on DisneyWorld.Disney.com to see if you can make a reservation for your planned arrival date on 22nd June 2021.

    You may wish to consider the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as an equally country-style cozy alternative to staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  My family and I adore staying in the home-away-from-home-sweet-home Cabins which can comfortably accommodate up to 6 Guests and benefit from a full kitchen, dining, and sitting area, plus outdoor space and personal parking.
