We'd like to take a cruise this June with our 4 yr old. The clubs that they can go to, are parents allowed to stay and participate in the activities? They look like fun but we'd like to enjoy them together and not have to leave him to experience them.

    Hi Kristen -

You've probably seen all the pictures and videos of the Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs... it is just spectacular, isn't it? No matter how old you are --  the Oceaneer Lab and Club are awesome themed spaces that anyone would want to play in. It literally transports you into the story. You will absolutely love it -- and your 4 year old will enjoy it too  :-).

Parents are welcome to play everyday -- ideally, during the Open House hours. The schedules will be on the Personal Navigator and it will also list what type of activity will be happening at the Youth Clubs during the day. If you're like me, I would be bustin' out my camera at a moment's notice, taking pictures of my child all around the club. I love my kids' photos by the Monster University play area, as well as in Andy's room. The colors are bright & everything in the club screams F-U-N. And yes, everything is kid sized - yay!

The Youth Counselors are pretty awesome -- I would visit (and play) with my kids at the club all the time... and I have never been asked to leave. I love watching all the activities & games they play, and I still remember my kids' giggling and having so much fun, like it was yesterday. That's just one of the many reasons why we've been repeat cruisers on the Disney Cruise Line.

Try not to get stuck at the clubs, Kristen... there's tons of adult activities to enjoy onboard too.
