Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We'd like to take a break from Magic Kingdom and do lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. There is a boat to Wilderness Lodge, but we have no idea where/how to catch the boat from MK. Where do we go and how do we know which boat?

    Taking a break for a great meal is a wonderful idea.  Excellent choice!

    Regarding the boat, launches can be found right outside of the entrance gate area of Magic Kingdom Park.  When you exit, the monorail connections are to the right, the buses are to the left, and the boat launches are straight ahead.  The signs are well marked, so you'll be able to get onto the correct launch for your lunch at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  If you're still unsure, just ask the Cast Members who are stationed at the Information Booth near the buses when you get to Magic Kingdom; they'll be happy to confirm times of the launches as well as how to be certain that you catch the right boat.

    Just remember, at Disney, if you're ever uncertain about anything, you can also go to Guest Services in any park.  Those Cast Members are among the most knowledgeable I've ever met.  You'll leave reassured that you're heading to the right place, at the right time, for the right reason!
