Hi Kimberly!
One of the many reasons that I have always chosen to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort when my family travels is because of the
Complimentary Resort Transportation. There are so many ways to get around that I never have to worry about how I am going to get there or where I am going to have to park! There are a variety of ways to get around the Walt Disney World Resort and as your question alluded to, there are often multiple modes of transportation to use at some of the Resort hotels.
At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resorts: you can access Magic Kingdom Park and both of these Resort hotels from a water taxi. You also can take advantage of the Monorail system that will take you to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once you get to the Ticket and Transportation Center, you can board a Monorail to Epcot. The bus transportation will transport you to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, Disney’s Blizzard Beach, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
If you are staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds, you can use a water taxi to transport you to Magic Kingdom Park. The bus transportation will take you to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, and both Water Parks.
I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort. Please stop back real soon. We love helping guests just like you plan an #Unforgettable vacation!
Whether you choose to set sail on a water taxi, ride on the bus, or become a kid again on the Monorail system, I encourage you to sit back, relax because your Chariot awaits Princess!
