Hiya, Alayn!
Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! First of all, please allow me, on behalf of all of my panel pals, to thank you for your service! My husband is an Air Force guy and we are so very thankful for the way that Disney chooses to honor our nation's heroes by offering this amazing ticket deal and
Disneyland Resort Hotel discounts. Reintegration is rough and finding family time can sometimes be challenging, but Disney days are always better.
Yes, the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets, while already available for next yEAR, are not eligible to be used until January 9th of 2023. Also note that for 2023, there are blockout dates of April 2 through April 15, and their last day of use is December 15, 2023. These tickets are typically only valid for most of a single calendar yEAR, and are almost always blocked out during the last half of December and the first part of January. However, they are made available for purchase in the fall before their use year so Guests can make
Park Pass Reservations; Park Pass Reservations, which kind of tell Mickey what day you plan to play in which park, are available for booking up to 120 days in advance and often book up solid in the days and weeks before each Disney day. In fact, hEARs the
Park Pass Reservation Availability Calendar.
If you're hoping to visit Mickey and his pals during
the most wonderful time of the yEAR in 2022, check out the regularly discounted, non-package, Disneyland Resort theme park admission tickets also sold at MWR/ITT locations. These tickets sadly don't have a cool nickname like the 'Military Salute' promotional tickets, but the savings are pretty amazing, especially on the one-day tickets. Best of all, there is no limit as to how many of these passes you can buy, there aren't any blockout dates, and you can also gift these tix to a friend or family member to use without you being present. You'll still need to make
Park Pass Reservations with these tickets, of which
several days this month are already at capacity, so if you think you might want to go this route, I'd start looking into this plan ASAP.
I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Alayn and that you're able to make some magical memories soon! Be sure to follow the
