Hi there, Patti! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited for your upcoming visit to the parks. You're in for a real treat! Of course, the first thing to get in order is your park tickets. I'd be happy to help ensure everything is set for your arrival.
The good news is that if you're purchasing a dated 1-day Disneyland ticket, you'll make your required theme park reservation as part of the checkout process. You won't need to make a separate reservation somewhere else.
When you purchase tickets on the Disneyland website or
app, you'll first be prompted to choose the type of ticket currently available, such as a Standard Theme Park Ticket,
Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer, or
Kids' Summer Ticket Offer. After choosing your ticket type, you'll indicate the number of days you'd like to visit. This is where you'll choose a 1-day ticket. Next, you'll enter the number of tickets you'd like to purchase for your party, followed by whether you'd like to visit one park for the day or upgrade to the Park Hopper option.
After you've made your selections, you'll move on to the next page, where you'll choose your visit date from the calendar. Selecting your visit date is what completes your required theme park reservation for the tickets you're purchasing. You'll then have the opportunity to add
Lightning Lane and a parking pass if you plan to drive. Finally, enter your personal information to complete your purchase. After everything is finalized, you should receive an email with your ticket details.
Patti, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this information helps you secure your tickets and reservations for your visit. If you have any questions until then, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
