Richard from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

The website says I need both a reservation and a ticket. I made a reservation and purchased a ticket. What is meant by needing both? Do I have to show proof that I made a reservation? How do I do that at the gate? I am in a party of 6.

    Hi Richard, welcome to planDisney!

When the Disneyland Resort re-opened, a theme park reservation system was implemented, requiring Guests to have both a theme park reservation and a valid theme park ticket to enter the parks. When you make a reservation, it is linked to your tickets, so you do not need to show any proof that you have a reservation. When you enter through the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Turnstiles, the Cast Members will scan your tickets for entry, and it will show that you have a valid reservation to enter the parks that day.

If you want to verify your reservation or make any changes, you can easily do so by logging in to your Disneyland Resort account, selecting the "My Disneyland" link, and then clicking the "Ticket and Reservation Detail" link.

And as your arrival date is still a few months away, I do want to remind you about dining reservations! Dining reservations can be booked 60 days in advance, so be sure to mark that in your calendar. The popular spots tend to book quickly, so do make this a priority!

    See ya real soon!
