Hi Emily! Welcome to planDisney.
You are counting down the weeks until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I know just how wonderful that feeling is. You will be in the middle of all the magic very soon - and since your arrival will be during the
holiday season, there is so much festive fun to look forward to!
Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel
may begin to make dining reservations 60 days in advance of their check-in date for the length of their stay (up to 10 days). So, if you had a 5-night stay, you could make all 5 days' worth of reservations once you reach 60 days from your check-in date. It does not mean that you can make reservations 65 days in advance (staying with the example of a 5-night stay). I hope that helps clear up any confusion! If you do a quick internet search, you'll find websites that will calculate that date for you.
I'm sending lots of pixie-dusted wishes that you're able to make the dining reservations you're wishing for. Remember to keep checking the
My Disney Experience mobile app as Guests change plans all the time. My military family often travels last-minute, and we have gotten some fantastic dining reservations the day of or the day before. The
Disney Genie Service can also look for day-of dining reservations - it's one of my favorite features of this new tool!
Emily, thank you for stopping by with your question. As you continue to plan and dream, please come back and see us if you think of anything else. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for news, updates, and lots of great planning tips. Have the best time!
Wishing you much magic,
