Website is not user friendly - simple question - what are the pool hours at Coronado Resort ?

    Hello Tammy,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Discovering all of the possibilities for your next magical vacation can be fun, but there are a lot of factors to consider. Whether you've already chosen Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for your next trip, or if you're just considering it, hopefully I can help answer your question.

Disney's Coronado Springs is a huge resort with one main pool, known as the Lost City of Cibola Pool, and three quieter pools located conveniently near the Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas. The reason the website doesn't specify the pool hours is because they are subject to change depending on weather and crowd levels. You can typically count on all pools being open by 10:00 AM; however, I have seen the quiet pools open as early as 7:00 AM, especially as the weather gets warmer. Signs outside the pool area will clearly indicate the hours each day. Closing hours vary as well. 10:00 PM is the average closing time, but the Dig Site pool is often open until midnight.

Another fun activity near the Lost City of Cibola Pool and Dig Site, is the nightly campfire. You can roast marshmallows or even purchase a s'mores kit for an extra treat. Afterwards, head to Destino Lawn for Movies Under the Stars. Each resort has a different movie schedule, so check with a Cast Member to see what's showing during your vacation!

Hope this helps. Visit us again soon if we can help answer any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
