Hiya Rosemary,
It’s me again, your friendly planning pal, Ashley F. You have brought up my favorite Disney topic, dining! I consider myself to be a Disney foodie, and I love to eat every yummy treat and delectable meal I can get my hands on. I’m sorry you are having difficulty navigating the website; I hope I can help you navigate it easier.
The
list of restaurants at Disneyland Resort can be found on the website, and it features everything from Character Dining to Quick Service. While the website does initially lay out all of the options, not all of them will be available to you during your visit. The Fine/Signature Dining and Character Dining experiences are typically by advanced reservation only (the only exception being for some select walk-up reservations). Quick service locations do not require a reservation and are easy to grab and go during your theme park days. If you plan to eat at a location that requires a reservation (usually sit-down restaurants), you will need first to determine what is currently available for your dates and party size. Once you look at the webpage, there will be a box that lets filter availability by putting in your dates, proposed time, and party size (beneath the area that specifies that type of dining). Input your information and click “search time.” Anything currently available to you will be generated, and you can make a reservation (you can also take a look at the menu before selecting by clicking the photo next to the dining location). For example, I put in your dates, October 14th, the time 8:00 AM, and the party size of 3. I was then able to see that both
Uva Bar & Café and the
River Belle Terrace were accepting reservations at that time, but 29 other restaurants did not have availability at this time. These reservations are dynamic, so just because something isn’t available when you look it up today doesn’t mean it won’t pop up tomorrow or closer to your visit. Guests can make reservations up to 60 days before their visit, so many table service locations will be reserved at this time, but definitely check back later.
I hope this was helpful, but if it wasn’t, please reach back out. We would love to help make it easier to navigate if we can.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
