Welcome to planDisney Laura. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
We are so happy you trusted us with this vital information for your visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” Disney Parks has an unwavering commitment to providing accessible experiences to all guests. There is a program I would love to tell you about that is a big part of that commitment.
Disability Access Service (DAS) assists guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in conventional queues. Eligible guests can pre-register for DAS virtually with a Cast Member as early as 30 days ahead of your arrival date. Once you are registered DAS is valid for up to 60 days.
The best website I could offer for families like yours is
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities. This page is laden with information on how to get around the parks, from watercraft, bus, monorail, and
Disney Skyliner access. There is also information on attractions and whether each attraction needs a transfer from your child’s wheelchair. Some attractions will even allow the guests to remain comfortable in their wheelchairs. Some folks use seat cushions to stay comfy. Believe it or not, you can use them on some attractions as long as they don’t obstruct the safety features. I’m a Disney Dad and have to be ready for all the possibilities. Another great website and resource is
Guest Health Care Services Presented by AdventHealth. This page will offer information for any prescription deliveries you may need. It also will pinpoint all First Aid Centers inside the 4 theme parks and both water parks.
Hopefully, this information gives you an idea of how you can keep your family member comfortable during your stay. Visit us at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
