How is the weather in September (September 6-13 2013) and which theme park should we start at first (its our first trip to Disney world) My daughter is 2 1/2!!!! thanks

    Hi Kimberly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending us your question!  September is a beautiful month to visit Walt Disney World Resort, school is back in session so the crowd levels drop significantly, and the weather is fabulous!  The average temperatures for September is around 80 degrees with the high's reaching up to the low 90's and the low's only falling to mid to low 70's.  It does start to get a little cooler during the evenings, but it is still manageable.  There is still a significant chance for rain, I would suggest bringing a poncho or light jacket just to be prepared.

With your little princess, I would definitely recommend starting at Magic Kingdom Park!  There is so much for your little one to see and experience, it is simply magical!  Make sure you head on over to the New Fantasyland and experience every bit of magic this wonderful area has to offer!  We could spend days at Magic Kingdom Park alone and still need to come back again!  When my daughter was 2 1/2 she loved Prince Charming Regal Carousel, it's a small world, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Jungle Cruise and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.  With the opening of the New Fantasyland, be sure to make time for Enchanted Tales With Belle and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid.

I hope you have a fantastic time on your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort Kimberly.  If you have any other questions or would like any other tips, please send me a follow up question.  I would be happy to help make your "Disney Time" even more magical.
