What is the weather like in September

    Hi Sharon!

I'm so excited to see you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in three short weeks! I'm sure you must be busy planning and preparing your packing list!

You are going to love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in mid-September. Before we had school aged kiddos, my family and I visited Walt Disney World Resort in September several times. The temperatures are typically in the high 80s or low 90s. The mornings are usually beautiful with temperatures in the mid 70s. The one thing you may need to be prepared for is rain. We typically saw, at minimum, an afternoon shower. I highly recommend you take rain gear and an extra pair of shoes. Don't let the rain deter you. Make every moment magical!

As I'm sure you know, you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at a truly magnificent time! The Force will be strong at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on August 29, 2019. Plus - the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is scheduled for August 29 - November 23, 2019.

Oh my goodness! I'm so excited for you! You are going to have an amazing time!!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!!
