    What is the weather like in October, looking at booking a trip next year out of school holidays to keep the cost down. Would the water parks still be open and are most of the rides still open. Four big kids travelling with 3 little ones.

    October is one of our favourite months to visit Walt Disney World.

    Coming from the UK, we have always found the weather to be lovely and warm with only a very small amount of rainfall. I should think that you will be wearing shorts and t-shirts for the majority of the time and might possibly need a light sweater for later in the evenings. Average temperatures range from 65°F to 85°F 

    Both of the water parks will be open for the vast majority of October. One of them usually closes for refurbishment towards the end of the month. This year Typhoon Lagoon will be closed as of 30 October.

    Another great reason to travel at this time of year is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I would highly recommend you attend this special event if you get the chance - it is an absolute blast for the whole family!
