What is the weather like in Disney in January? We have reservations to go January 21-25 2013. Just wondering if we will need winter clothes, summer clothes or both. Thanks!!!

Hey there Candy!  January is one of my family's favorite times to visit Disney World because the weather is so mild...much more tolerable than the sweltering Summers not to mention the fact that crowds are usually lower than usual!

The average high in January is 72 and the average low is 50!  But keep in mind...that is the average.  I have seen much cooler temps in January as well, so it won't hurt to arrive prepared with gloves, hats, and jackets, especially since temperatures can dip in the evenings!  I think you have the right idea to pack for both Summer and Winter, making sure to bring items that can be layered and stripped off if necessary!

    Best Wishes,
