What is the weather and crowds usually like for the third week of June? I am bringing my granddaughter to Disney for her first trip and for her birthday from June 13th thru June 19th. Also, does Disney do anything special for birthday trips?

Welcome Anna! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hEAR your Disney vacation is just around the corner! June usually tends to be a very busy month at the WDW, mainly because of summer vacation. The weather is very hot and humid; make sure you take light clothes, hat, sunglasses and lots of sunscreen. It is my favorite time of the year for enjoying Disney’s waters parks! I suggest you check easywdw.com or touringplans.com, for crowd calendars, they are very informative.
Regarding your granddaughter’s birthday, she will have the best celebration ever! Disney is the perfect place for it. I suggest you consider a character dining experience. There are great options at the Parks or at Disney Resort Hotels. Chef Mickey’s is one I highly recommend, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Dinning reservations are recommended.
You can order a birthday cake to be delivered to the restaurant of your preference. You can choose from a variety of cakes and shapes and a 72-hour advance notice is required.
Finally, to make her day totally magical, by the entrance of the Park, don’t forget to request a complimentary Happy Birthday button for her!
Hope this information helps your planning. Have a magical vacation!
