The
face covering requirements for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort have been updated over the past several months as health and safety protocols have been updated. You will find that the current face covering requirements are:
- Face coverings are optional for Guests who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 when they visit indoor locations at Walt Disney World Resort.
- Face coverings are required for unvaccinated Guests 2 years old and above who are enjoying indoor locations, such as restaurants and the Disney Skyliner.
- All Guests 2 years old and above are required to wear face coverings when riding on Disney buses and monorails, regardless of vaccination status.
- Face coverings are currently optional for all Guests when enjoying outdoor areas of Walt Disney World Resort, which includes outdoor attractions, theaters and queues.
So regardless of your vaccination status, you will find plenty of opportunities to enjoy your vacation without a face covering!
Keep in mind that as health guidance changes, the face covering policy will continue to be updated. I recommend that you check out the
official face covering policy to stay on top of the latest updates to the policy and to get additional information on allowable face coverings that can be used during your visit.
