Can you wear water socks on slush gusher

    Hi Isabel!

My son and I love going to the two amazing Water Parks in Walt Disney World, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! We always wear our water shoes or water socks (Crocs or something similar) when we are in the Water Parks. The pavement in the Water Parks gets quite warm on a sunny day and it is quite rough on the feet. So having something on your feet offers the needed protection and helps avoid any foot injuries as well. You can wear water shoes on almost all of the water rides including the Slush'n'Gusher, the Lazy River and the Wave Pool at Typhoon Lagoon. On some of the very high water slides you will have to hold your water shoes in your hands while your are on the ride. Typically, the lifeguards (cast members) will inform you as to what you can and cannot bring on the water rides. I would recommend wearing your water shoes in the Wave Pool because the bottom is very textured and rough. I definitely wouldn't leave home without your water shoes if you are planning to go to a Water Park during your Walt Disney World vacation!

I hope that you have an amazing time at Typhoon Lagoon on your next vacation to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
