What do I wear ? Nov 11-18th . Is it too cold to swim staying at French quarter

    Hi Amber ~

The weather at Disney World in November is usually very pleasant. The average temperatures are in the high-70s and lows in the high-50s. The humidity is much lower. November is usually the driest month of the year averaging a little over 2 inches of rain. Since you are going towards middle of the month, you may even see some low-80s. Keep in mind that these are averages and there is always a chance of some unusual weather pattern. I always recommend checking the 10-day forecast right before your trip.

I would bring some shorts and throw in a pair of jeans for the evenings. I would also bring a light jacket and plan to layer in the evenings (maybe a long sleeve shirt and light jacket) since it can get a little chilly while waiting for parades and fireworks. I would also bring a sweatshirt or hoodie. I never go to Orlando without an umbrella or poncho just in case.

The pools are heated throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to around 82 degrees. Unless there is some unusual weather pattern, it should warm up outside enough for a swim in the afternoons. I have visited every month of the year and have seen Guests swimming even in the winter months. Some of the months would be a little chilly for me but I grew up in the south and get cold very easily. My friends in the north laugh at me and take the plunge.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
