Hi Melissa!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner and I'm so happy to help you plan your trip! You've picked a great time to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth" because you'll be able to enjoy so many new experiences during your visit. Have you seen that
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening later this month? I hope you're planning on visiting EPCOT during your trip to enjoy this new intergalactic coaster!
Since its reopening, Walt Disney World Resort has updated its safety protocols based on the current trends and regulatory guidance. Currently, face coverings are optional for Guests in indoor and outdoor locations, as well as while using Disney transportation. Since the policies can change between now and your trip in a few weeks, I recommend that you check the
Walt Disney World Resort Face Covering Policy right before your trip to get the latest info about the protocols that will be in effect during your visit.
You are welcome to bring bags with you to the theme parks, provided they aren't larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). This means that you can bring bags, backpacks, coolers, or even suitcases with you, as long as they are within the size guidelines, to ensure you have everything you need for your magical day in the theme parks. You're also welcome to bring food and beverages into the theme parks, provided you don't bring any glass containers or alcohol with you. Finally, you can't bring any loose ice or dry ice with you, so if you need to keep things cool, reusable ice packs work perfectly! You can check out the
Walt Disney World Property Rules for additional information.
Melissa, be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down the final
sleeps until your vacation. Also, come back to see us if you have additional questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
