Can you wear your Magicband in the pool or water park?

    Hi Jessica!

Selecting and personalizing your Magic Bands for your upcoming Walt Disney World trip is fun and exciting. It is a sign of all the fun you will have to look forward to. It is great to allow the kids to make their own decisions on colors and perhaps a name for the band as well.

The Magic Bands were designed to be worn at all times during your stay. They are indeed waterproof and can withstand swimming and showers. You will want to make sure the band is on tightly and secured well around your wrist if you are thinking about doing more of the thrill type rides in the water parks. I have found that the newer bands don't feel as secure as the older thicker ones but the new ones are more comfortable. I have not tried a new one in the water parks yet. If you don't feel there is a secure "latch" of the band around your wrist then it might be best to put it in your locker during your water park rides. But it is indeed able to work after getting wet so it is your decision.
