MagicBand+ on Friends

    Can we wear our MagicBand+ in the pool? Wasn’t sure since it charges on the back. We’ve never had this style before and are interested in all its features and what it can do.

    It's good to hear from a fellow Show-Me Stater!  How exciting that you will be experiencing the Magic of Walt Disney World in just a few days, I bet you are brimming with anticipation right now.

    I think the new MagicBand+ are so neat and have some super cool features!  You will be happy to know that MagicBand+ was developed to make your vacation as seamless as possible so they are indeed waterproof, and they will be just fine to wear while swimming and while riding on some of our favorite water attractions like Kali River Rapids.

    Amy not only are MagicBand+ waterproof, but they are also so convenient for using to enter the Disney Parks, unlocking your Disney Resort hotel room, and even for charging food and merchandise if you have a payment card linked to your Disney Resort hotel room.  But those are just the convenience features, so what about the fun features?  You will be happy to know that MagicBand+ will light up and interact with some of the nighttime spectaculars!  You can also use your MagicBand+ for exclusive experiences such as searching for virtual bounties at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    Finally, did you know that you can customize your MagicBand+ and choose your own custom light up theme and adjust the vibrations/haptics?  I just know that you are going to love all of the features of MagicBand+ and this will bring a new level to your vacationing in the Disney Parks.
