Ahoy there, Georgia!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you're making your list, checking it twice, and getting everything ready for an incredible adventure on the high seas. I’m glad you stopped by with your question so we can make sure
nothing gets left behind—especially something as important as your hearing aid charger.
The great news is that yes, you can generally bring your base charger for your hearing aids onboard your Disney cruise! While I can’t speak to the specifics of your exact device, hearing aid chargers are usually allowed as long as they do not contain built-in surge protection. Items with surge protection are
on the prohibited list, but basic chargers without that functionality are usually cleared by the Chief Electrical Engineer during the embarkation process.
To avoid any hiccups with your luggage delivery, I always recommend packing essential medical and electronic devices in your carry-on bag. That way, if your charger is selected for inspection, you can address it quickly and won’t be stuck waiting for your checked luggage to arrive at your stateroom.
And while we’re talking carry-on bags, here’s a tip from one planner to another: don’t forget to include other embarkation day must-haves like your Port Arrival Form, government-issued IDs or passports, any medications, sunscreen, a swimsuit if you plan to hit the pool right away, and your
DisneyBand+ (if you’re using one). Think of it as your own personal “Bottomless Bag,” cruise-style.
I hope this helps as you prepare for your high-seas adventure! From the moment you step aboard, the magic is in the details—and I’m so glad you’re thinking ahead to make your cruise as smooth as possible. If you have any other questions as you get ready to set sail, don’t hesitate to reach back out.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
