G'day, Karen, and welcome back to planDisney! We always love when you stop by with your great questions.
Scheduled to officially return August 22,
Spooky Season at Disneyland is coming up soon and, with that, themed attractions, entertainment, dining and more. You're in for a real treat during your visit, Karen!
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that a complimentary trick-or-treating experience would be included again this year for Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. And to answer your question, Karen, Guests are welcome to wear costumes for trick-or-treating, but recommended attire for Disneyland will still apply, so not a bad idea to take a look at the specific guidelines on the
Disneyland website before arrival. Then, when you're ready to party, check in at the Front Desk of your hotel for more information on the trick-or-treating experience, including days and times. Have a ghoulishly good time!
Speaking of treats, Karen, you'll definitely want to take a peek at the newly released
Halloween Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog! My family once adjusted our entire visit after drooling over the Halloween Foodie Guide, just to make sure we were in the parks to enjoy some of those treats - true story!
Tip: Keep an eyeball on the churros cart near
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, Karen, because it looks like my favorite seasonal churro is returning - the Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Churro! Menus are always subject to change, but if available, this churro will satisfy any rumbly in the tumbly.
I hope this information has been helpful, Karen, and you have a frightfully fun time trick-or-treating in the Happiest Place on Earth! Remember, if any other planning questions come up as you're preparing for your visit, please don't hesitate to
reach out again! We're not scary!
Boo!
