Hi there, Tim!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. I have quite the flip-flops collection, and I definitely prefer to wear flip-flops as much as possible in the warmer months. They are so comfortable, and they are the perfect footwear for a
Disney Cruise!
Most dining locations aboard the Disney Cruise Line are "cruise casual", and I have worn flip-flops to dinner on more than one occasion. I do prefer wearing dressy sandals to dinner because it is nice to dress up a little after keeping it casual all day, but it is not required at this time. Shorts and T-shirts can also be worn, although they prefer that swimwear and tank tops be kept in your stateroom during dinner.
Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended for the adult-only restaurants aboard Disney Cruises. I usually wear a sundress and nice sandals, while my husband wears a collared shirt and dress shoes. Brunch is a little more casual at Palo and Palo Steakhouse, and dress shorts are permitted. I love the brunch at
Palo Steakhouse! It was the highlight of my last cruise aboard the
Disney Wish. The delicious food and thoughtful service make it worth dressing up a bit! More information on the dress codes can be found on this
Disney Cruise Line page.
Tim, grab those flip-flops and set sail on the Disney Cruise Line! I hope you contact planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
