    Do you have to wear face masks the whole time you are at the parks? Or can the be removed when you are outside?

    Hello Katie! Thanks for bringing your thoughtful question to planDisney! The Walt Disney World Resort recently updated face covering practices. The changes went into place on June 15, 2021. 

    The wearing of face coverings is now optional, for vaccinated Guests, in most indoor and outdoor locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. All Guests, regardless of vaccination status, are expected to wear face coverings while boarding and traveling on Disney Transportation. 

    Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to comply by wearing face coverings in additional locations including all indoor locations and while entering and experiencing attractions. Guests will not be asked to provide proof of their vaccination status.
