Hi Thomas! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Getting into the spirit of the season with a fun costume is one of the best ways to experience
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disneyland Halloween Party. It sounds like you have big plans, which is exciting! My family has attended Disney specially ticketed events dressed as characters from a galaxy far, far away, classic animated Characters, and members of the Mickey Mouse Club. Get creative! Just remember that there are
park rules governing what can safely enter the parks, and it is always up to the discretion of Cast Members whether a costume meets guidelines.
Rules for parties are slightly different than your average park day. You'll want to check the
guidelines as your party date approaches; however, in the past, Guests 14 and up could wear costumes to the parties, so long as they were family-friendly, didn't have sharp edges, or drag on the ground. Additionally, capes couldn't reach past the waist. However, Guests 14 and older aren't allowed to wear masks except for medical reasons. Some of these details are probably important when designing or modifying your Doctor Doom costume. Keep them in mind and stay up to date on any policy changes to avoid being turned back at security, which would be a frightful experience!
Tickets are just around the corner. Don't be scared! But be ready. This is an incredibly popular party, and it can sell out quickly. You want to be one of the first Guests in the waiting room, so you get your chance to buy. Set a reminder on your mobile device, so you don't sleep through the window to enter. And remember,
Magic Key holders have a chance to buy a little earlier than the general public, which is a fantastic perk.
Boo to you!
Elizabeth
