    Can I wear a cooling vest under my shirt in the parks?

    Hi James!

    Thanks for your question. I do understand the need to stay cool at Disney, especially in balmy Orlando weather at the theme parks. Although cooling vests aren't listed as prohibited attire, anything security may deem suspicious in nature may potentially be subjected to a search. This is what Disney officially states as it relates to attire such as layered clothing:

    "Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests."

    Although I can't definitively say I've ever heard anyone denied entry for wearing a cooling vest, it is possible if it's layered or raises suspicions based on appearance, that they may conduct a search for safety and security measures.
