Can you wear Chacos to the waterparks and keep them on while on the slides ?

Hello Pattie and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a splashtastic question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
Wearing some sort of beach or surf style shoe really is a smart idea for when visiting either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park as I know I find the pathways tough going & sometimes a little bit hot for my tootsies!
I'm happy to share that Disney's current Water Park Dress Code Regulations state that swim attire should be free of all buckles, rivets, zippers or exposed metal and from my own families experience I can recommend a soft beach shoe made from neoprene style material that fits well and is totally secure on your feet.
Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety and if you are at all unsure about your choice of footwear when visiting a Disney Water Park please speak to the nearest Cast Member who I know will be only too happy to advise.
Be sure to check out the newest addition at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park - Miss Adventure Falls; this white water family raft attraction looks totally epic and is the longest ride in Disney Water Park history!
    Have a great Disney day.
