Can I wear a blaster and holster to Star Wars night special event?

    Greetings, Randall,

I’m glad you are asking this question ahead of time. Guests attending the Disneyland After Dark events are welcome and even encouraged to dress up for the event. And Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is no exception. Of course, it’s important to be aware of the event costume guidelines. You can find the costume guidelines on the Disneyland Resort website.

Weapons or items that may resemble weapons are not permitted at the Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, that includes toy blasters. Since it would be best not to start on the wrong side of the First Order, it’s best to leave the blaster at home for this mission. There are a handful of items that are considered acceptable, including Lightsabers. And all items taken into the Disneyland Resort are subject to the discretion of security Cast Members.

Tony’s Tip: as you embark on your journey to a galaxy far, far away, be sure to review the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to May the 4th Galactic Goodies. The Lightsaber Churro looks epic! And I can’t wait to get my hands on a Grogru Sipper.

May the Force be with you, Randall!
