Hey there Jeff thanks for stopping by planDisney. A family vacation is always something I have a budget for, and planning to pay for it is just as important as the fun you are obligated to have when you visit
Walt Disney World.
It sounds like you haven't visited for a couple of years, I can assure you the magic is still alive from your last visit. I confirmed said magic about a week ago with my son. Walt said "Progress is impossible without change" and this is still true inside Disney parks today. There have been plenty of changes and you are going to love them. Chief Executive Officer of Disney Bob Iger's return to his post has not affected the way to pay for your vacation. While there aren't scheduled plans with installments there is still a way to reserve your stay and pay along the way. When I want to start planning I visit the
Vacation Planning Page for a fresh start to see what's new. Another nice place to make sure you take a peek at is the
Special Offers page. Whichever promotions are available at the time will be located here. A deposit of $200 is needed to make your reservations. Price is subject to change. The deposit goes towards the price of your stay of course. You can make payments leading up to your stay can be made in any fashion and just has to be completed at least 30 days before you arrive.
There is a whole list of
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels to choose from, some of the classics are still around, like the very popular
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. With its lush South Pacific vibes and familiar mahogany-colored pillars, this is one resort that has not changed much in appearance. There is some current construction happening to make it an even better place to stay in the future. Some of the newer accommodations to test out are some of the boldest, like
Disney's Art of Animation Resort with decor spanning all the years in Disney and Pixar animation. It also has the biggest pool on Disney property so it is worth a look.
I hope your stay is wonderful in 2024. In case you were wondering when you can start booking, traditionally the next year's dates and promotions will be announced late in the spring season. So keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any news. In the meantime, I hope this information helps book your stay and budget those payments before you arrive.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
