    Hello WDWMP!! U people are GREAT!! 2 Questions:#1-We are DVC members but just booked our 1st cruise with $. Are there any DVC discounts/perks/mtgs/gifts we'll get? #2-Can we take a case of beer (cans) onboard on in our luggage to be used in our room?THZ!!

    Hi Debra,

    Thank you for asking me this question.  Congratulations on booking your first cruise on the Disney Cruise Line!  You will love being treated like royalty.  Be sure to book your excursions before sailing as well as sign out your children for the various kid's clubs.  I also recommend taking advantage of the Spa on board. The treatments are amazing, and it is wonderful to be pampered.  As a DVC member, you will have a special magnet placed on your door that says Welcome Home Members.  You will also be invited to a special onboard event.  I would encourage you to attend this one hour presentation as you can meet the DVC Cast Members on board and will get snacks and drinks as well as special DVC hats.  You will also get to play Disney Trivia games for prizes (all DVC of course!)  You will be told of any onboard specials to add on to your membership.  The specials are fantastic when you are sailing so if you wanted to add on any points, I would do so on the ship!  I called up Disney Cruise Line about your question about a case of beer.  The Cast Member I spoke with stated that each person (adult) can carry on a 12 pack of beer with them and not to pack it in your luggage.  I hope you have a fantastic voyage on your first cruise.  You will love it so much!  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Debra.  Welcome Home.
