Going to WDW 1/2-1/9/2012 for 5yr wedding anniversary, my husband and I have never been here could someone please help me decided a nice not to expensive place to stay and also what are some romatic things you can do 4 dinner and activites?

    Hello Brenda,

Congratulations on  your upcoming wedding anniversary!

It's no secret that I love Port Orleans - French Quarter. It is a Moderate Disney Resort. And I think it can be a very romantic spot for couples. It's a smaller Resort with intimate walkways illuminated by gas lamps and serenaded by fountains. And this Resort recently went through a makeover so every room now includes queen sized beds, granite counter tops, and new bedding, furniture and carpets. Love. Love. Love.

Disney isn't just for kids. If you're looking for romance, you can find it at Disney. I honeymooned at Disney so I know it's possible! Why don't you and your husband consider a horse drawn carriage ride along the Sassagoula River? Or how about sharing a sundae made for two at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort? Maybe you both would like to indulge in spa treatments.

I think Disney has some phenomenal restaurants. If I were celebrating something special, I'd think about heading to Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge then lingering after dinner to watch the animals on the Savanna. Or maybe I would reserve a table for a late dinner at California Grill and so that we could watch Wishes from the Restaurant's observation deck. Same with Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort.

No matter what or where you choose, I hope you and your Prince Charming have a lovely anniversary!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
