Hi Susan,
Welcome to the Moms Panel, thanks for your question! Travel days can be tough, all the excitement and anxiety can really do a number on a child’s energy level. Your child would be more than welcome to dress up to visit another park, however there will not be trick-or-treating locations like you’ll find at the Halloween party.
I am not sure if you are aware, but Disney has recently added an additional night of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on November 1, 2009. What I would suggest would be to skip the trick-or-treating on October 31, 2009 and use that day to explore another park, swim in the pool and get a good nights rest. Then you could have your Halloween the next day, and attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on November 1, 2009. You’ll be well rested and ready to go! Hope this helps, have a great time!
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
