Will be going to WDW with a 2 1/2 year old. Would like to go to the shows geared towards youngsters. If we need to leave the shows, can you just get up in the middle of them and leave? Or are we stuck there with a possible antsy child? Thanks!!

    Hi Krista,

You are definitely allowed to get up and leave a show if it becomes necessary for you to do so.  In order to make that process easier, scope out the exits prior to choosing a seat.  Ask a cast member, if necessary, to direct you to a seat near an exit if you feel you might need to leave before the show concludes.  We did this when we traveled to Walt Disney World with our 18 month old nephew.  If we worried that a show might be frightening or too long to hold his attention, we just mapped out an "escape plan" in the event that we would need to depart before the end of the show.

By the way, make sure you check out Disney Junior Live On Stage! with your little one.  It is an exciting new show in Disney's Hollywood Studios geared specifically toward children the age of your son or daughter. You're going to have a blast at Walt Disney World.  Your child is at a magical age to explore all that Disney has to offer!
