We are going to WDW with our 5 year old daughter. We were planning on getting the Deluxe Dining Plan and just letting her have the included appetizer or food from our meal. Is that allowed? If not, can we purchase a lesser dining plan for her?

    Hi Natalie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

The way that the Disney Dining Plans work is that the same “level” of dining plan must be selected for every Guest saying in the same Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. This means that, while you can certainly choose to share your meals and dining entitlements with your daughter, you will need to purchase a Deluxe Dining Plan for her as well during your upcoming vacation.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you the answer you were looking for, but please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
